Thanksgiving would be a good day to reflect on how Small Businesses in this wonderful town are the backbone of commerce that is keeping us alive and moving forward.

This Saturday has been designated “Small Business Saturday” by American Express.

AmEx is not exactly a small business but someone within that organization got a good idea and was able to sell it to someone else who was overseeing a big budget and, bingo, here we are with an opportunity to leverage their big bucks for our small business community here in Petaluma.

Bottom Line: Think about the tinker, the tailor, the cabinet maker… and every other small Petaluma area business when Holiday shopping this year.
