Our Petaluma Downtown Association recently threw a scarecrow-making party at Taps that resulted in more scarecrows in the windows of downtown merchants that you could shake a stake at.

Come with us now to see the merchants who joined in the solidarity by displaying their scarecrows so shoppers could identify which businesses participated with special offers during last week’s Harvest Days promotion.

Shop local. Shop independent. Shop downtown.

Did you know this structure is so big you can see it from the 101 freeway?

Doesn’t it make sense to call the shopping area north of Washington St. the Feed Mill District?
