Hello Kids!

See these images below?

These are downtown visitors who asked if they could get their picture taken with Petaluma Pete.

(Wearing his hat is optional.)

Some people might think this is silly. However, Petaluma Pete knows that silly beats sad any old day and if you can help transform someone’s mood from sad to silly then life can be better for both of you.

Don’t get me wrong… There’s a difference between silly vs. sad and silly vs. serious.

At Petaluma Pete’s real job, there are serious decisions, serious deadlines and serious business that needs to be conducted and no room for silly but it still doesn’t need to be sad.

Often times, Petaluma Pete will sense sadness in the faces of our downtown visitors as they pass by his piano and that’s when he does his best to to introduce some serious silliness to help make their day better.

It’s OK to be silly kids (as long as it doesn’t make anyone sad) and this is something you can experiment with at home!

Pass this on to your adults and, while you’re at it, round ’em up and bring ’em downtown this week.

I’m serious! 🙂
