Did you take your adults to the downtown Petaluma Antique Faire last weekend?

Here’s a video that someone shot of Petaluma Pete faking his way through a request for a song he hasn’t played for at least 20 years and it sounds like it. 🙂

This is called ad-libbing. It’s chance-taking while realizing you may have to face consequences if you can’t make it happen.

Don’t be afraid to ad-lib, kids… ever.

Sometimes your ad-lib might fall short but, just like life itself, you gotta get right back up and forge ahead.

By the way, the kid dancing in this video is ad-libbing and, guess what, people appreciate her because the creativity and spirit that she adds to this moment far outweigh any shortfalls in her dancing technique.

Ad-libbing is life. Life is ad-libbing.
