Hello Kids!

This is a Joan Bunn picture of Petaluma Pete walking the Butter and Eggs Day parade handing out iPod entry forms with the gang from PCA (Petaluma Community Access), channels 26, 27 and 28.

It was a PERFECT day.

Part of the reason the day was PERFECT is because the Petaluma Police were very much on their game. They were everywhere keeping everybody safe and sound, especially immediately after the parade when, in the past, the rowdy partiers try to get all the attention.

Those rowdy partiers didn’t have a prayer this year. 🙂

My favorite moment was when these 2 young men made the mistake of blatantely walking against the lights at Western & Petaluma Blvd. right in front of these 2 uniforms sitting on light-weight motocycles. Those two young men never made it to the opposite side of the street before they were whisked away like feathers in the wind.

This year was better than ever, kids.
